EMDR Trauma Therapy

EMDR is a trauma therapy that allows people to regain their balance after experiencing traumatic events. EMDR accesses the neural networks where trauma is stored and heals them, so that the body doesn’t have to experience significant distress when reminded of the traumatic event.

I use this protocol driven approach to treat a wide array of concerns including abuse, sexual abuse, medical trauma, birth trauma, traumatic losses, betrayal trauma, and other presenting issues.

EMDR is commonly used with individuals. Although it can be modified to use with couples. EMDR is often helpful for both individual and couples who desire to address traumatic experiences like infant loss, miscarriage, NICU experiences, traumatic birth, and so on.
